Thriving as an independent advisor, Kim is not only a financial expert, but also a mentor and advocate for professional women seeking to make an impact and leave a lasting legacy. Kim holds the Chartered Financial Analyst, Certified Financial Planner and Enrolled Agent designations.
Her commitment to her profession includes serving as a long-time board member and past president of the CFA Society of Dallas/Fort Worth, as well as a current member of CFA Texas. She also loves serving her local community as a long-time member, past board member and past president of Altrusa International of Downtown Dallas, in addition to previously serving as an Altrusa International Foundation Board Chair.
Kim is also a Level 1 nutrition coach and weightlifter, plays golf, and enjoys spending time with her family.

Outside of work, Alisha spends time with her husband, three children and two dogs. They enjoy traveling and playing sports. Alisha actively volunteers with the Girl Scouts of North Texas and her family’s church.

She brings a unique blend of “go-getter” energy and humor – as well as nearly 20 years’ experience – to her role at AWM. She also holds Series 7, 9, 10 and 66 licenses.
In her spare time, Valarie plays recreational softball, takes Zumba classes, plays with her two dogs, and spends time with her family.
